  • Each of you have had an event, or many, that created dis-empowering responses in your mind and body. For perspective, keep in mind these immediate survival responses got you through the original trauma alive and served a purpose.

  • I believe the most important qualities are the ability to be adaptable and resilient, and to embrace empowering perspectives.

  • Changing your perspective creates a new reality. Even if you haven’t changed the circumstances, it changes your feelings and how you respond.

  • I found that you get to repeat the experience with slight variations over and over until you learn the lesson you’re supposed to gain from it!

  • What I had to do to recover was learn how to deal with the trauma/drama in more empowering ways, including changing my perspectives. This is the key to healing and resolution of trauma.

  • I believe the most important qualities are the ability to be adaptable and resilient, and to embrace empowering perspectives.

  • Sometimes it’s hard in the middle of the muck to see that the adversity is actually leading us to a better path– Trust The Journey. Believe that universe may actually be colluding to bring you the best things– that could only come through the process of refinement that happens in adversity.

  • A belief that you absolutely can change your life into a better, more satisfying one is a vital foundation for your healing and growth.

  • Finding a possible benefit to your trauma can help to resolve and heal it. It no longer carries the weight of having wasted or ruined your life.
